A Vichy Shower is a specialized spa hydrotherapy setup designed to cleanse and relax the body while you lie fully reclined on a cushioned, waterproof treatment bed. Above you, a horizontal bar fitted with multiple showerheads releases continuous streams of warm water, typically maintained between 36 – 40°C, that flow in gentle, overlapping patterns from head to toe. The room is usually softly lit, with tiled or stone finishes that emphasize a clinical yet calming spa environment.
Unlike a standing shower, the experience is entirely horizontal, allowing the water to act like a controlled rainfall while the body remains still.
